The Frank and Goldyne Green Cultural Land Conservancy was founded from legacy, loss, and responsibility.
Named in honor of Frank and Goldyne Green, the organization continues a lineage rooted in community, resilience, and care. Founded by descendants of a legacy Black Seattle family who experienced gentrification firsthand, FGGCLC was created in response to the rapid loss of Black spaces and neighborhoods.
Before founding Seck Law, Ibiere spent ten years at The Cochran Firm, the firm established by the late Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr., where she sharpened her trial advocacy in catastrophic injury and police misconduct cases in both state and federal courts.
What was once stable, rooted, and thriving has too often been erased.
FGGCLC is a commitment to a different future. One where land is secured, culture is protected, and communities are not displaced from the spaces they built.
The Frank and Goldyne Green Cultural Land Conservancy cultivates Black community power through cultural land stewardship by acquiring, protecting, and activating land for permanently affordable spaces for artists, cultural organizations, and community life.
